This colorful alphabet placemat is two-sided, laminated, and packed with educational opportunities!

• The mnemonic (integrated picture) alphabet on the front side is the research-based preferred method for helping children connect letter names with the proper letter-sound necessary for beginning reading.

• The back side of the placemat has upper and lowercase letters with green dots to guide the proper starting spot for letter formation. Many children naturally start bottom up and learn incorrect formation without proper guidance. Children can use the alphabet letters for a guide to print their own name at the top.
